Sometimes I seriously think that's me. I don't think i was particularly endowned with artistic talent, but somehow (with a lot of time and patience) I can make things that look... decent.

Take that "Sockglue" CG pic. The sketch took me not more than half an hour, and for what I thought, it was pretty good.

Fast forward a few days later, I open up the scan and start cleaning it and coloring. I think i easily spent 5-6 hours on it, finishing up shortly after 4am. The moment I finished was pretty damn euphoric too... but i had no one to show it to! ;o;

...but later I'm looking at it and going "darn, i can do so much better". I probably can too, it'll just take another 5 hours.

So my eternal quest to develop artistic skill continues. I bet a lot of budding artists go through this at some point, so I know I'm not alone. Though I do have to admit, looking at the first deviations I posted, I've greatly improved.

...and then I found something I drew in the fourth grade. Let's not go there. ^_^;
